Cue & Shaft Construction - Do You Care?

Couldn't care less. All I care is how a cue plays, easy or hard to make balls with. All the rest is marketing IMO.

Do you care how your cues and shafts are put together? What lies beneath that wood & carbon fiber?

These days I like to see that object ball find the pocket more often than anything else.

Of course, if it's build bad, will be bad. How they are built affects the performance and quality. Look at Yugo and knock off Chinese products.

I'd never compare cars and cues. Even a pos cue if its straight and has a good tip will play ok. Long-term durability is really where high quality materials/build come into play. I've had a couple pos chinese decal cues that played as good if not better,imo, than a SW. would they last as long? Seriously doubt it.

I never understood those shafts. It seems like a carbon fiber shaft with wood wrapped around it.

And I think the cf center is gonna keep a shaft straight, no matter what it looked like to start with.
