Cue Show

I was wanting to do a cue show in my area as a prelude to our first open 8 ball event and wanted to see if any local cue makers would be interested and what kind of incentive or numbers would they want to see to make it worth while

Its going to be a 64 person event at a good sized room 1500 to 2000 added late summer and we are going to make a weekend out of it with mini's and Etc.
 
Bill, there are a lot of cuemakers out there who don't read AZBilliards. I would recommend calling the cuemakers directly to see if they'd be able to support your event-especially the ones in Florida. How many days will the event be and will there be display costs to factor in on top of travel costs? Dates will play an important role as well.
"Little" Kenny Carfagno (fourkingscues) is holding an event June 8th ,9th and 10th in Warington PA. Among other cuemakers from around the country, Florida cuemaking notables such as Showman, Searing and Manzino are on the list.
Big Chris is liable to do another Windy City Cue Show this summer, too.
ICCS has an event in Vegas in the beginning of November.
I think the regional cue shows are great. But I think you're going to have to let your fingers do the walking to see what kind of support you can get.

Bill, when is it? I would love to go and play as well. Maybe get a chance to play David Grossman in some one pocket.

If it is less than 3 months I might be able to donate say a sneaky pete to raffle.

Thanks for your input Beau I posted this more to get feedback from cuemakers on AZ that go to regional shows to get some feedback on what they like/dislike would they do it again if this or that was different the shows I have been to were at big events so you know you are going to have big traffic
I am trying to start a annual or bi-annual event I have a couple sponsors already and I would like to have some sort of cue show but I know starting out its going to be tough but got to start somewere there would be no cost to the cuemaker/collector

I am still ironing out the dates it will most likely be end of summer

I am sure he would love to play

and that would be great
