Times change so fast, events come and go, some books go out of print...

I wanted to start an ongoing list of Places to visit, things to do, places to play, people to watch, maybe even equipment to own! "The Cue Sports - Bucket List" if you will.

I love reading all the stories of road trips, and the history of our sport. Please reply to this thread with something that you feel like every PLAYER should experience during his/her encounter with cue sports, and all things surrounding it!

Should be interesting to see everyone's feedback!

Since I don't have a lot of the "Travel/Road trip"experience under my belt yet, I'll stick to what I know. here's a few things I can think of that have influenced or impacted me:

1. Huebler Cue's - I really started paying attention to how equipment is made after being introduced to Huebler's Cues. (This may have also started my "Collecting" Habit.

2. Joining a League. - Helped me see this sport in a whole new light, I also learned the value of playing "Safeties".

3. Playing in Tournaments - (Weekly & Regional) - Allow's me to set goals, of where I want my own game to be,

4. Watching - "The Color of Money" - Still my fav,

5. Learning to play 1 Pocket.

6. Reading Player's Novel's. (So many out there, each with a fascinating story!)

I could go on and on, but I'll stop there, now it's your turn AZB!

you should definitely add these:

- Visit the Philippines to watch local sharks rip their share off foreign customers (better done during major tournament held there)
- Visit Derby City Classic. And this goes on your list several times, since like Greg Sullivan confessed he designed the tournament in such a way that you can't see all at once in only one single visit :)

Is like to visit Amsterdam Billiards have a lesson from Tony. And visit Steinway for a lesson with Earl. Watching a challenge match from their VIP chairs next to the table while eating dinner would be cool.

Go to DCC

Attend a TAR match live.

Attend the Mosconi Cup when in LV.

Everyone should visit Fargo Billiards...just to see what a really well done poolroom is all about! People who live in Fargo ND are just plain lucky!

Scott Lee ~ been there several times
