I went to the three day course down in Sioux Falls, SD at BreakTime Billiards. The main instructor was Randy G with assistant Johnny Henson. Simply put, it blew my mind. I thought I played pretty good before attending and now I laugh at how I shot. Some people told me that they didn't like the sound of lessons because the instructor would show you how they shoot and that is the only way to shoot. Randy showed each of us different things to do because we all had different body types. The video analysis really shows what you are doing and what needs to be fixed. My new stroke is really sweet. :D We learned everything in 3 days. Mechanics, Stroke (S.P.F), Aiming system (S.A.M), Mental info, Centergistics, Speed Control, Physics, Diagnostic tools, and Mother Drills & more. The three things that blew my mind: S.P.F, S.A.M, and the Mother Drills. Aiming is so simple with the Supplemental Aiming Method it is ridiculous. Everything was really organized and we each have a three ring binder of everything we did so we can review and practice it at home. I highly recommend getting lessons from Randy G or Johnny Henson. I can't wait to attend some more classes with these two fine men. :D

Nyce to hear Bro. Another good review of the School. Randy and the rest of the guys must do some amazing things i must say.

I really like Randy, he is a great instructor and overall nice perosn.

IMHO, of all the instructions I've had none has topped Randy's pool school.
 
Pool school

I feel the same way, RandyG. and his school are the best in the country. I am making sure I go back for several more treatments. I have a sick pool game, and they are the cue!!!!! LOL
 
Can't wait!!

I'm going to the Roadshow in November and can't wait. I have taken a few lessons before with some success but still struggle with the fundamentals. I've heard so many good things about Cue-tech and Randy. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Three days in that class teaches a lot...but not quite everything. Believe it or not, there is another higher level class he teaches as well. I have been through both, and they are excellent. He is bringing his road show to Carolina in a couple of months, and we will be teaching both classes. I can't wait...it's always a pleasure working with Randy.

I was one of the other students at this class, and I have to agree that
it was a exceptional class. I had taken a couple half-day classes from
Jerry Briesath about 10 years ago, so I thought it could be good to re-
fresh and re-learn with Randy G. I was thoroughly impressed with the
structure and content of this class. Randy has great communication
skills to pass the ideas to the class, so everyone understands the
principles being presented. The first thing he asked was if we could
empty our cup...empty our mind of past knowledge and old habits...this
way we would be open to new learning. I just wish I had done it 30 years
ago!!! I had a great time learning some new concepts in the company of
some great people!!! My advice is...don't wait, do it now!!!

I visited the poolschool.com website and notice it does not make any mention at all about the road shows. I had to search for quite awhile thru a search engine to find the any info about the road show schedule. It looks like if someone isn't already aware that the road show exists (like from info on this forum), they would never know anything about it from just visiting the website. Is there another link somewhere on the site that I missed that has road show info?

Randy is the ultimate teacher

:D I got my certification from Randy and I now teach pool for Royal Carribean and only wish I had half the skills that Randy has teaching pool. Most people have the misconception that you need to be a pool superstar to be qualified to teach pool, but they are usually the very worst teachers as they get by on God given ability. Randy is a good player, a great teacher, and one hell of a real good guy.:p :D :p

IIRC, both Allison and Gerda have attended Randy's school. That should tell you something. :D

Just to clarify, I'm not positive that both of these ladies attended Randy's school, but I think they did. Also, I don't think these ladies attended the school to learn to play pool, although they could have learned something. I believe their main reason for attending was to learn more about teaching pool.

www.poolschool.info is his current website and is being updated. Maybe he can black out the old one with a redirect link to the new one or something of that nature.
 
Nov 17-19

If anyone would like to attend during Nov 17-19. I am going to be there so we could hang out or play or something. Let me know if anyone is interested in attending on these dates.

They took instructor lessons from Randy which was either his advanced course or a special session with them.

Maybe you should talk to Randy about expanding his road show. I'm sure he would enjoy some fine French cuisine. :)
