cue w/out weight bolts

1. Remove rubber bumper.
2. Change wrap from linen to leather of same thickness (.020).
3. Buy new a new after market shaft that is lighter (Preds are famously light) or have new lighter shafts made.
4. Change the joint pin/ collar to a lighter one. For example, a HUGE difference between 3/8-10 steel or brass and aluminum or G-10.
5. Have cue bored out in the rear and plugged with lighter wood.
6. Sell the cue and buy a new one in the weight range you're looking for.

How can you change the weight of a non weighted cue?

Two questions:
1. What arethe weight differences among a 3/8-10 brass, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum joint pins?

2. What is the weight difference between a linen wrap and leather wrap? Also, is a genuine lizard wrap heavier than a pigskin wrap?

What kind of cue is it?

It has a 3/8 x 10 pin
ivory joint, inlays, butcap, croc leather wrap, silver rings. Shafts are 4.1 oz and 4.2 oz. Butt about 15.1 oz. No weight bolt. Though I really like the cue, l'm going to sell it instead.
