Cue Weight ??

I have been trying different cue weights. I have in the past liked 18 oz cues. But I have been shooting a new 20 oz Schon STL 15. I have settled in and becoming more settled with this new weight. I'm playing better, getting more cue ball action and having more control.

My question: What is your cue weight and have you thought about changing? What do you look for at the diferent weights?
Thanks CMB

my cue right now is 19oz and i have thought about trying 19.5oz for a little more power...good luck with your search.

The balance point is as important as the weight. Different balance points can make a Heavy cue feel Light or vice versa. Unless you talking about same balance points and weights in a cue.....Dave

I have found 19.3 oz is good for me with a balance point ranging from 18.5 to 19.5 depending on the builder.

Weight is 20.2 with a balance point of 18.75".

I definitely prefer a heavier cue mainly because I don't have a perfect stroke which, IMO, is crucial to playing with a lighter cue.
