Cue Wrap

I just got my cue back from J&D Customs Cues. I had sent it to Jim to have a leather wrap installed. Jim did just a magnificent job on it. I really had to look very closely to find the seam - I had to rotate it slowly about 3 times before I spotted it. Jim was wonderful to work with. After he received my cue, he sent me photos of about 6 or 7 wraps to select. I called him on the phone about the selections and he had an idea about a couple of others. He then sent me those photos. I finally selected a shiney black lizard wrap which really offsets the cue. It looks terrific. Thanks Jim for doing such a great job on my cue and at a great price. I was hesitant about getting it done, buy thanks to Jim, I now have a truly handsome cue.
I should add that Jim received the cue on Wednesday and I got it today - Monday. Talk about turn-around time.

Yes Jim does a great job doing wraps and a real quick turn around time. I have somemore cue's for him to do for me as well but Im just alittle lost on what to go with for the wraps. I may just do what I did for my last one, just send it to him and let him surprise me. Of coarse he showed me acouple layed out with the cue before he did the job, but he picked the right ones for me and when the job was done it was perfect and made the cue look great to. So you cant go wrong with Jim, and his prices are very reasonable also. I just have to decide which one do I want to change next ? <<<ED

Here's a pic of the cue. It's not a great picture but it should give you an idea. That white line in the lower left of the cue is probably a reflection and not a crack.
