Most players I know have a cue around 19oz to 19.5 what do you other fellow azers prefer thanks.

The lighter the better in my opinion!

My old Players cue was right around 16oz, and my Klapp sneaky is right around 17oz. They just feel amazing to me.

wrap on a cue

I would like some opinions on stack leather wraps on cues thanks .

I'm playing with a 19.8oz and I'm happy with it. I need to feel some weight in my hand, otherwise I'll tend to force shots.

18.5 or so. Balance of a cue is as important as weight. Even weight distribution or slight forward balance preferred. As I have improved my weight preference has gone lower as long as the cue is not butt heavy.

Lighter Weight Cues With Ivory Joints & Ferrules.......

All my ivory joint cues weigh 18.3- 18.4 ounces, except for my Prewitt that weighs 18.8 ozs because the shafts are 4.2 ozs.

However, every cue butt weighs14.5 -14.6 ounces (Scruggs, Owen, Rauenzahn & Prewitt cues) in addition to two more cues underway.

The pending two custom cues will cap my cue collection due to CA's AB-96 that will become effective July 1, 2016..

Anyway by the Springtime, my 6x12 case from Castillo should be entirely filled with light weight, ivory joint pool cues....it's taken awhile.
