Okay. So, I've heard/read the comments about being cue builders, but what do your business cards and websites say?

Cuemaker or Cue Maker ???

I know this seems like a silly question, but I'm curious and I'm terribly bored, so please humor me.

Does it really matter? Yes, to me, it's a very silly question...By gosh, your honest from the get go.
...have a good day, with either your cue maker, or your cuemaker....Buy a cue or two, go to your pool hall, and bet high, end results, not bored, just broke....

It is probably not a common enough term to make it into a dictionary, but I would say cuemaker is actually correct, just as hatmaker is a common spelling and usage. It is pronounced as one word.
 
Whether cuemaker or cue maker. Maybe the question should be where do you find the cuemaker in the YellowPages?? Who Advertise in the phone book? Don't mean to hijack your post.

Cuemaker and now, Hatmaker, always show up spelled incorrectly in all of my different spell checkers. (Or is it Spellcheckers?);) My guess is that both need to become more commonly used to be added to the widely accepted vernacular.

I also. I usually make it two words as my spell checker doesn't like one word.

Right click on the word it doesn't like and tell it to ADD the word to the dictionary. It will never argue, again! :)

A lot of Oklahoma had floods, tornadoes, or large hail of golfball size or larger. (Hmmm.. golf ball... one word, or two...?)

We watched as the pond behind us came up to our back gate, but it went down rapidly, as soon as the water stopped falling. The creek one property over also came up over that neighbor's yard, but went down real quick. Everything drains well, here. We had more than 12 inches of rain in about 3 days. Some areas had more and some had less, of course.

I don't know anyone who had any damage worth talking about. Little stuff, like a swing set blown around. A small flood in the garage, etc.. That's about all. I feel very fortunate to not be hit by the severe stuff.

We're supposed to be down to freezing, tonight and I think we're going to be back up to 80 degrees in a few days. It's all that temp fluctuation that causes so much severe stuff.
 
Some funny stuff people come up with. Nice thread, it cracked me up. Likely no coffee in my mouth.

One or two words really doesn't matter. Cuemaker should be the proper word.

Good one, Dale. I (obviously) hadn't thought to look at the name of the forum, but I have seen it written both ways, so I thought I'd ask what most folks use.

I agree, too. Smorgy is missing. I am surprised he didn't jump in here. He's falling down on the job.
