Cuemaker recommendation

I have a Tim Scruggs cue, circa 1980, which I have owned it since 1990. I don't play with it anymore, kind of like having a Ferrari in the garage, but it has tremendous sentimental value to me.

I would like to have it refinished and a new wrap installed. About 6 or 7 years ago, I was passing through Baltimore so I took it to Scrugg's shop and showed it to Mike Cochran (Tim wasn't there that day). Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to have the work done at the time. I really wish I could have gotten them to do it, but with Mike and Tim both gone I was wondering who would be the best person to handle such a treasure?

Bob Frey would be your man to do it.

Bob Frey it is: thanks!

If I were you I would just sell the cue to me, then you wont have to mess around with all of that refinishing stuff.
Dealing with cuemakers is stressful & time consuming, let me take care of that for you

Bob Frey just refinished my cue. Excellent work and very friendly. Luckily he is only 20 min from me.

I've seen him saw through the handle of a $7K Schick, and not bat an eye, to remove a warp from the butt sleeve. Two weeks later the cue looked brand new.
CueAddicts know how to get in touch.

Bob Frey is the authorized repair for Scruggs cues, he does great work.
