Cuemakers only: ferrule preference

none

For about the last year i have been using no ferrule on my personal cue. 75 plus year old brunswick wood for the shaft, just the pad and medium moori. I have had zero problems and love the " hit ". Seems to me like you can feel the contact just a bit better than with a ferrule, but might just be in my head. chuck starkey

FOR CUEMAKERS ONLY!

Which material of ferrule do you feel plays the best for YOU on a playing cue? Not talking about deflection bs, just regarding your personal preference for feel, looks, durability, and playability.

Please post why, and also how you like it installed. Length, threaded or not, capped or not, fiber pad or not.

Please give only one choice

Thanks!

Ferrule material: I prefer Aegis ferrules.
Length: 3/4 , threaded and with pad.

why Aegis? durability, playability and look white always
Why 3/4? best feel and hit.
Why pad? It will be very easy to change tip for my clients and they did not damage ferrule. Besides, I believe that utilize pad enlarges the life of ferrules.
