Joey For some reason its just different when its a cuemaker thats doing it. I understand your frustrations, seriously I do. It just looks bad. I am not against you. I am also not pro or anti Eddie .

First let me say I am a potential customer. I own many cues and I like to buy them. I dont even sell them I just like to collect them. Mostly fancy cues but some simple ones with very nice wood. I may just order a cue from any one of you guys!

Now that you have dangled the carrot, all the starving cuemakers have to keep their opinions quiet or they won't get an order from you. If I have to kiss your A$$ and compromise my integrity to get an order from you I will keep my cues.


E.W. comes on here and apperently makes a good cue at a very reasonable cost. From my perspective it seems many other cuemakers are threatened by this. They attack evrything they can about him. His knowelge, his quality, his character, and his advertising. Now I admit his advertising is anoying but it doesnt hurt anybody. If the Mods allow it then thats all that needs to be said. It realy seems that many cuemakers just hate the idea of somebody selling a good product too cheap. Not to mention he has made coments like "its not rocket science" or "Its just a piece of wood" I can see how this gets under your skin. Now it seems he is getting attacked for every little thing that he can be attacked for.

How do you know that he makes a good cue at a very good price. You have not ever seen one of his cues and for that matter neither has anyone else on this forum. His knowledge and advertising speak for themselves. His character is a matter of public record. COLOR]

I will admit that the guy who is mad at him for being late with his cue has ever right to be but the rest of you dont. If this becomes a pattern with E.W. then that is different but this seems to be his first time being late so cut him some slack.

Of course Charlie Edwards is upset. He has been promised a cue over and over for over 7 months. He has asked for a refund to no avail. If it was your money would you be so anxious to cut him some more slack?


For the cuemaker that posted his record. I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE BUY A CUE FROM HIM. He is disgusting. I dont care how he justifies his actions, it doent matter. He is the worst thing I have seen on this site. PERIOD. I am also very disapointed in the other cuemakers who are dog pilling on E.W. There is no need for this and in all honesty you look like a$$holes. I have not ruled any of you out yet but a couple are very close to being on my never buy from list.

As I read this I am not supposed to justify my actions - just let you attack me personally. Publishing the info about EW was the hardest thing I have done in many years. I knew that quite a few others on this forum had the same knowledge but elected to keep the information quiet rather than go through what I have had to endoure. Sure it makes me look bad unless you are one of those that have sent him money. I don't know how you can attack all of those who do not approve of EW's actions. Who are you to call them a$$holes?

Now as of right now I would not buy a Wheat cue either. They just dont look fancy enough for me and even if I was going to buy one from him I would wait to hear more feed back. I do not know him or even like him and I have only known of him from reading all of these posts.

It sure is convenient that you will not buy an EW cue now that you have real data on which to make that judgement - thanks to me. If you were really sincere you would buy a cue from him and send him the money up front! But you would rather wait to see if and when he changes his ways before you risk your own money. How does that go? Don't do as I do - do as I say do.

The ENTIRE REASON for my post is to let tell you guys how you look when you go on and on attacking another cuemaker this way. I hope you realize how bad this makes you guys look to your customers.
Not all of the cuemakers act like this only a few of them.

I do not believe that for an instant. You just wanted to attack me for telling the truth about EW. Again for the record I have received many many PM's and e-mails thanking me for having the courage to reveal the truth. Why do you want to make the messanger look bad? Unfortunately, whistle blowers usually lose their jobs because they won't go along with the system of keeping your mouth shut about the shortcomings of this industry regardless of who it hurts. Thank God for the media in this country and our laws preventing censorship - sometimes we get the truth.


Please do not turn this into another bashing thread or try to justify your actions by pointing out what "he said" or what "he did" Thats not the piont. I am just giving my opinion of how your actions have effected me, your potential customer. Maybe I am the only guy who feels this way(probably not) but even if I am, thats one less cue you might have sold.

If you think for one second that I am going to sit by and let you attack me and not explain my actions then you have another think coming. Just because you tell me in so many words to "shut my mouth" does not mean that I have to. We still have freedom of speech in this country. Not having an Arnot Cue is you loss.
 
WOW!! Does anyone remember the pre Eddie Wheat days?? Wish we could get them back, it was so peaceful and educational.

Just goes to show how one arrogant ass can screw everything up.

You brought this entirely upon yourself Arnot and should be punished for your lowly devious ways so defend yourself all you want but it will do NO good !!!

You are a nasty and vile person and I never ever intentionally did anything directly or indirectly to provoke you or warrant this type of evil behavior from you !

You called me around x-mas time last year and introduced yourself and we talked for about 45min and had a pleasant conversation and you even invited me down to your shop... months later you turn into a monster torawrd me completely out of the blue and I asked point blank on a post what the problem was and you never responded.. after that I lost total respect for you and rode it off as a bi-polar disorder and never tried to contact you since.. then you pull this stunt and post my arrest record and have the audasity to cry wolf becasue I had a problem with you trying to crash my business ???

You need to have your medication checked !!!

You are obviously directly efffected by my geographical location, prices and quality of my work or you wouldn't give a damn about me unless you were losing potential sales !!!

Now take it anyway you want but you Sir are IN THE WRONG for your stunt and sole intention to crash my business and why you have NOT been banned yet for your iunacceptable behaivor is beyond my understanding...

What you did goes beyond any AZ rule infringement.... it shows downright spitefulness and blatant hurtful intent !

I have no more use for you and you are diggin yourself a much bigger whole than I ever have and mabey you are just too self-absorbed to realize how wrong you were for posting my record which has ZERO to do with cuemaking abilty or how I run my business... YOU R INTENTIONS ARE COMPLETELY IN THE WRONG !

I wish you a speedy recovery with your mental health issues God knows the sooner the better before every cuemaker's background checks and arrest reports are on AZ !

And by the way... I have had the luxury of examining one of your playing cues and they are NOT all that especially it that outrageous price !!! so this midas-touch persona you so proudly exude is a joke ! and you have the nerve to overcharge people based on your self opinion... and sadly, your recent actions show that you really believe you are better than everyone else in your own mind !

Thank you for your kind words Mr. Wheat.

I have had over 2000 people purchase an Arnot cue over the years and many aspiring cuemakers attend my cuemaking school. I have also helped many others who asked for help with their cuemaking problems.

I wish you the best.
