CUEMASTERS FINAL LIST..by Blud

Gabber, thanks for your comments, sir,

Your right and You have your opinion about why were doing this and "we" have ours and you are only guessing or assuming, sir.

It is for the sport, and for us to make a living.

And all of our members build cues from there hearts first, and there wallet second. But, who didn't know that?

With more cuemakers on the block and doing better work each and every day, all cuemakers either bust there butts to keep up or they loose ground.

We are not here to set higher prices and price our selves out of the market place, DUH!

BTW, I left the ACA, for reasons that I care not to discuss.

thanks,to tshot,

I have "NEVER" said the rest was par. "NEVER". I am not implying that either. Neither should you. I think your looking at it in the wrong manor, sir..

Consider having a club of guys who want to meet and play pool once a week or two or three times a year or more, and they all can 'play" . You now have 12, and some others, sitting on the side lines, who are not in your club, they can really "play" also. But, you set a limit at 12 on your team..........

Should you take and open it up because someone was not invited to be on your team, because an out-sider complained? don't think so. Like I said, before, none of the cuemakers I know of, are complaining. So why should anyone, who is not a member or cuemaker, complain?

I just have picked cuemakers who all like the idea of having a small group. It's at 12 and will never go over that.....DONE DEAL. so why not except this and drop it, sir? It's not your call.

Thanks Juston, for your kind words.

We as cuemakers, can sell to whom ever. That's our rights.

As far as jacking up the prices for americans, I do not do that for anyone, here or over there. Our members know what he needs to get out of his work, and sets his own prices.

I also sell my cues abroad. Nothing wrong with that. But as I said, mine sell for the same price to the over-seas buyers, as to you folks here. I treat all customers the same. No price gouging from me. No Way.....

Juston, you have seen my operation, lots of machinery and it's pretty expensive. I sell to make a profit.

The $2,000.00 cue, good for the cuemaker. We all [cuemakers] have a line of customers, and they, by demand of our products, set our prices. The cuemakers might charge to much for some, but he's still selling his higher priced cues to others.

The consumer, should direct his attention to the cuemaker he's interested in purchasing a cue from, and make his own deal, for a dis-count, or trade in, and or whatever.

Pooljunkie73, I do not understand your question, please explain.

To chalksbilliards, thank you also. It seems some are never happy with what i post.

Another statement,

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, I, along with our members, are in no way setting our club and it's members above anyone.

It's like Chalkerbilliards said, quit gripping. Don't waste your breath. NUFF SAID ABOUT IT, GUYS, PLEASE.................

We are just a club of guys who like to idea of being in a small group.

SEEMS like some have over looked this time and again.

BUY CUES, from your faviorte cuemakers, that's your rights.........

The club, is for all who love our sport.

thanks

Gabber, it's no BS, as you are saying.
I resigned, during my second term as the ACA's President.

It is "NONE" of your afair. and that's, NO BS.
blud

BTW, I failed to mention, that all of our "MEMBERS" are treated "EQUAL" ...

All are treated fair and equal.
blud

thanks blud for the reply.......i know that you have a nice operation...and yes you are one of the few that maintain a equal price for everyone but there are other dont yuou agree that have there prices set at such a starting limit as to exclude the average guy and to only attract the big money spenders.......i applaude them but man would it be nice to be able to get a cue from these guys without having to save for it for 6 months.....i hope the new organization does well and all the cuemakers in it maintain there high standards ......i know some personally ....and i dont think you should call this a club...it is more of a organization to represent the best in the world at what they do......juston coleman

Again Juston, many thanks.

Club is just "short" for origanization, during my posting.

Some of our members do sell expensive cues. They build a few cues per year. Most of there's, are ordered cues in adcance from customers.....

I sell expensive cue too. I do sell lower priced cues as well.

Nice to see someone understands what I am doing by forming this organization, other than some complaining about it.
thanks Juston,
your friend

Sorry about that Blud. What i meant was, i understand the group will be organizing events in the future, what are the odds of some of these events coming to Canada?

Kent Mc.

instead of having a event in canada why not just have it in a mojor city near canada........i hope this organization picks up and runs like fire.....semms to me like the aca roster has come to a stand still.....cause there are alot of new great makers out there ........i hope this new group will take a look at some of these guys and consider them in the future.......good work leonard....and again i deeply apologize for all of the bs that has transpired between us....with the help of mr.purdy i have seen my faults and have just decided to let life take its course.......i hope all things come full circle and friendships come back to be on all fronts of our lives.....talk to you later.......juston coleman

Good thinking Juston,

What city??

I just can only cover so many spots at once. Being busy, I seem not to think as clear as normal. Maybe over worked a little. Or haven't had enough cold beer of late. Yea, that's it, not enough cold beeeeeer.
blud

something centrally located .........with plenty of access......would take some looking around for a venue.....juston

new cuemakers organization

i dont really think this is a club per say....it has the or will have the same function as the aca,it will provide you with a listing of cuemakers so that you can use the resources to have a cue made or get info on cues.....juston coleman

Well then let me ask it another way, what is the central purpose of this organization? Not trying to be a d!ck or anything, but as a player and a cue enthusiest, what am I to gain by the creation of this organization?

...my only thing is that us as tax paying citizens should not have to suffer prices hikes due to the fact that if we dont want to pay those outrageous prices some cuemakers ask for they will just send them overseas...
Paying taxes doesn't have anything to do with it, because cuemaking isn't a government service. But I understand your point about astronomical pricing; there are cuemakers who are approaching $1000 for a plain jane. I assume these cuemakers are being spoiled by Japanese collectors (cues in Japan sell for up to double what they do in the US), and I'm sure there are other countries who are paying premium prices for American cues.

HIGHER PRICES!!!!!

For those cuemakers who live in America, we can charge what we need to get out of a cue. Nothing wrong with that.

As far as the Japanesse, and other folks outside the US, has nothing to do with my pricing. I price my cues for what I need to get for them, to make money to pay my bills.

The markets outside of the US, has had "NO EFFECT" at all on my pricing. Those folks pay the same as American's do.

I don't belive in price gouging, just because a customer comes from another place. NOT ME, PAL..............ALL PAY THE SAME.........

We as cuemakers, get real busy and that being the case, will raise our prices, because of, {SUPPLY AND DEMAND}, nothing else.
again, rock on

how did the trip go leonard....hope all is well and you are keeping busy.....take care .....juston coleman

Kick-ass trip. Did gooooood, and picked up 4 new dealers. Also I have 6, top players using my cues. most of the cues are under-construction at this time. Will anounce there names later on.
