Gabber, thanks for your comments, sir,
Your right and You have your opinion about why were doing this and "we" have ours and you are only guessing or assuming, sir.
It is for the sport, and for us to make a living.
And all of our members build cues from there hearts first, and there wallet second. But, who didn't know that?
With more cuemakers on the block and doing better work each and every day, all cuemakers either bust there butts to keep up or they loose ground.
We are not here to set higher prices and price our selves out of the market place, DUH!
BTW, I left the ACA, for reasons that I care not to discuss.
thanks,to tshot,
I have "NEVER" said the rest was par. "NEVER". I am not implying that either. Neither should you. I think your looking at it in the wrong manor, sir..
Consider having a club of guys who want to meet and play pool once a week or two or three times a year or more, and they all can 'play" . You now have 12, and some others, sitting on the side lines, who are not in your club, they can really "play" also. But, you set a limit at 12 on your team..........
Should you take and open it up because someone was not invited to be on your team, because an out-sider complained? don't think so. Like I said, before, none of the cuemakers I know of, are complaining. So why should anyone, who is not a member or cuemaker, complain?
I just have picked cuemakers who all like the idea of having a small group. It's at 12 and will never go over that.....DONE DEAL. so why not except this and drop it, sir? It's not your call.
Thanks Juston, for your kind words.
We as cuemakers, can sell to whom ever. That's our rights.
As far as jacking up the prices for americans, I do not do that for anyone, here or over there. Our members know what he needs to get out of his work, and sets his own prices.
I also sell my cues abroad. Nothing wrong with that. But as I said, mine sell for the same price to the over-seas buyers, as to you folks here. I treat all customers the same. No price gouging from me. No Way.....
Juston, you have seen my operation, lots of machinery and it's pretty expensive. I sell to make a profit.
The $2,000.00 cue, good for the cuemaker. We all [cuemakers] have a line of customers, and they, by demand of our products, set our prices. The cuemakers might charge to much for some, but he's still selling his higher priced cues to others.
The consumer, should direct his attention to the cuemaker he's interested in purchasing a cue from, and make his own deal, for a dis-count, or trade in, and or whatever.
Pooljunkie73, I do not understand your question, please explain.
To chalksbilliards, thank you also. It seems some are never happy with what i post.
Another statement,
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, I, along with our members, are in no way setting our club and it's members above anyone.
It's like Chalkerbilliards said, quit gripping. Don't waste your breath. NUFF SAID ABOUT IT, GUYS, PLEASE.................
We are just a club of guys who like to idea of being in a small group.
SEEMS like some have over looked this time and again.
BUY CUES, from your faviorte cuemakers, that's your rights.........
The club, is for all who love our sport.
