CueMonster with Mach3

I'm helping another cue maker out this weekend with the newer version of BobCad and was wondering if anybody has set up their Cue Monster to work with Mach3.

If so, can you get me the pin settings?

Thanks

If you take your controller apart you can look at the pins and where they go on the breakout board.

You can go into your Mach3 and copy your motor outputs.

Top left click on config, click on ports and pins, then click on motor outputs. Copy your pin numbers.

Click on config again, click on motor tuning, you might need those numbers so the machine cuts the rite lengths.

Thanks. If it was mine, I'd have it going. Trouble is, the person who it belongs to will need a road map. I won't be at his house with his machine. He'll be at mine.

I'll PM Jim and see if he has the config for it.

Thanks again

I'd think all cue monster machines are the same. If yours is different you'd want to check a cue monsters pin numbers.

Anybody with a cue monster could post those for you.

MachIII

The latest update for MachIII has an auto config function built in. Its under the "config" tab. It will analyze your system and do the config automatically.

what and where are thede pin #'s you keep referring to??

After you open Mach3 config is in the top left corner next to file.

I posted the instructions out of memory and edited my instructions after running through the process.

Top left click on config, click on ports and pins, then click on motor outputs. Copy your pin numbers.

Click on config again, click on motor tuning, you might need those numbers so the machine cuts the rite lengths.
