Cues 4 Kids Logo

I'm going to head over to my T-shirt guys place today and see what I can get him to do.

I think I can get the templates, screens, etc. all donated and get a good discount on the shirts.

I'll post back when I got some pricing and see if we can get a good value to have 100% of the proceeds going to these charities!

I also created a ChipIn for people that want to donate some cash to this cause. http://azpoolscene.chipin.com/boys-and-girls-clubs-phoenix

Hey Dawg, I didn't mean to seem critical. Those were all great graphics.
I just liked the other logo.
Bruce, heres a link to a forum member who does Tee shirts.
I haven't seen him post for awhile.

I honestly do not want to go into the T-shirt Biz, and Jerry Stuckart seems to have a source for t-shirts, so let him deal with it.

I think the Article about my project with the Boys, and Girls Clubs in THREE POOL Newspaper could generate a bunch of e-mail, and people wanting information so I am putting my time toward that, and a Basic Pool Clinic at the Peoria Boys & Girls Club in November..

Hey CocoboloCowboy...

I saw your article. Very nice. Glad to see someone is doing such a thing. When I first had my heart attacks, Gene and I had talked about doing repair work on cues for our local boys and girls club, but getting away from the house was hard for either of us, so we waited until we knew I was doing much better. Then came the cancer and another year or two of down time.

I am a lot better now and your story reminded us of our original desire to help the kids. We always loved the clubs and enjoyed spending time with our kids there, when they were young. This is a very simple way to give back.

So, I called, the other day. The local club had a total of 2 tables and 6 cues. Of those 6 cues, 3 had tips (just barely) and the other three didn't even have ferrules on them. We picked up 3 and had them fixed in time for their party that night, along with an extra one we had hanging around. I am delivering the other 3 plus another extra to them, today. Now, they will have 8 cues with tips and ferrules on them. I may take up a quick collection and spread them to different Boys & Girls Clubs and similar clubs in our area. It is a very simple thing I can do and Gene enjoys helping the kids learn the game and have decent tools to play the games with.

Thanks for the reminder, CocoboloCowboy! And, best wishes with your great little program you are starting up. It could turn out to be a very big thing in a hurry. I hope you're prepared for that kind of ride, Cowboy!

Honestly you are the first person who says you saw the article in it printed newspaper format, I have had no e-ail from the pool world about my project, or questions on how people can get involved where they live.

I was expecting a big wave of e-mail, but to date NADA. Tanks for your kind words.
