cues as lovers or wives & Derby City classic

I became intimately acquainted with a significant variety of cues before purchasing the Universal shaft & it appears to be a viable long term monogomous relationship. However, with b/j cues, I only get to see centerfolds & read love stories. My proficiency with my Fury b/j is growing by qualitative leaps, but I still have a roving eye & could be seduced.

Will vendors at the Derby City Classic in January provide an opportunity to try the high end b/j cues I keep hearing about?

I've never made love nor had any relations with a Cue.

But does the truth of that statement depend somewhat on what the definition of the word "is" is? :D

I can understand having a monogamous relationship, but when it comes to b/j's, I'd like to think that getting several different ones shouldn't count against your monogamy. It's not like your having a relationship. It's just a b/j. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am, and back to the true love for your regular routine.

Just ask Mr. Clinton,

Fred <~~~ doesn't need another b/j for at least another month

I thought my metaphor would be appreciated so let me cut to the bottom line. Dealers around here do not stock high end b/j cues so there is no opportunity to try them out before purchase. Will there be an opportunity to try out high end b/j cues eg. Sledgehammer, Predator, x-breaker at the Derby classic?

Don't forget about the options on a b/j? Quick release for example. If I jump with my b/j then the quick release is almost imperative, but my b/j doesn't have a quick release. So it takes a little screwing before I can use my b/j for a jump. Now I've read that the reason my b/j doesn't have a quick release is so that the two butts are interchangeable. I started thinking about that and if I wanted to use the big butt, I would have to do a whole lot of screwing. Screw the shaft then Screw the butts and then screw the shaft again. Then do all that screwing in reverse to put it back together again. About this monogamous relationship business. Well, the fact that my b/j came without a quick release so that the two butts could be interchangeable. If it comes that way I don't think either butt should be jealous of the other butt. I mean since neither has the quick release they are going to get the same amount of screwing.

Just sounds like an awful lot of screwing for one b/j.

I guess I'm polyamorous when it comes to cues. I like variety so I tend to rotate them so that none of them get jealous.
