Wish it was a Searing, then I could put a 1 in front of that $275 and it would still be gone in an hour. Leon Sly makes a pretty nice cue. They are becoming very, very popular around here.

It's a tribute cue!!

I've seen some of Sly's cues around here in MD.....they look nice, and I heard he did some apprentice work up in Baltimore with Mr. Scruggs.

When I saw my first Sly, I snapped it up and went to pay for it....when the room owner saw the look on my face as I approached, he said flat out "It ain't a Searing...so go ahead and put it back on the wall if ya want."



It's still on the wall...........and it's still a nice looking cue.

it looks too much like dennis's 'S". Dennis has been making cues since 92, and using that trademark.

I agree, and he may have already done it. I saw a few of his cues recently and they were signed "Sly" between the points. I don't know how many he made with this butt logo, but certainly only a few.

BTW, cues #4 and 5, second pic (Klein rosewood & Petree P/H) have been sold, pending receipt of payment. Thanks.

I agree Ken. If I had an extra 150.00 laying around, I think I would have grabbed this one already. But I think Brent and I got something else purple in the works...down the line a little bit.

Lisa and Ken,
The BHQ sneaky has some sweet curly purpleheart in it, and the points are real high so you get a lot of purpleheart in the cue. It is a sweet hitting cue with a thinner taper. It feels real nice in your hands.
