Hmm the Miranda is made in late 2005 and is already crooked:rolleyes: .....

Hi Yeah,

It's unfortunate that the handle it's crooked. My cue guy "Don" said it can be fix by replacing the handle. This was one of Miranda early cue that was cored and it plays really good. A refinish on this cue would really make it a keeper but I already have 6 Miranda Cues. I have a southwest Miranda that coming to me with the original SW pin...but this cue is sup up big time. I also have a JW that Don Broos is working on...and its going to be perfect after he's done. Don recently finished my personal playing miranda cue and its play like a dream. It like having power steering in a car as some said before. The miranda butt has the perfect balance and it was cored with 40 laminated layer of wood...maybe that's why it hit so darn good. Of Course Don also built two new shafts (Very straight tight grain)...so all these little factors make it an amazing playing cue. The time and effort into my personal playing cue was well worth the investment!!! Get a Miranda and give them a try...they make great looking and playing cue.

Regards,
Duc.

yes, the schon cue was broken and it was rebuilt using the original stainless steel and joint pin by Joel Weinstock, who did a fantastic job. He also built a laminated shaft for this cue. The cut hit great...and look amazing with over 100 plus inlays. There is a slight roll in the forearm...possibly due to the taper on the forearm and slight roll to the schon shaft. The laminated shaft is striaght... and when together the cue roll striaght.. A great playing cue...both shafts are around 12.25MM.

Regards,
Duc.
