Cues Made by Paul Costain??

My understanding is that Paul Costain is a precision engineering all-star from CT (?) who worked with Bill Stroud to make the first uni-loc joints now sold to several custom cuemakers (Paul Drexler, Chris Nitti, others).
He is specifically not a cue maker.

YES< Paul D. Costain aka PDC Machine, Rowley, MA - DID make cues - before buying the Predator Cue Company.
Likely the number of total cues he constructed was something less than 100. Most were sold to local players here in New England.

All of the available information has been mentioned.
If you are looking for pricing information, I have to see the cue.
There isn't a market for these cues even though they are rare.
Rare as they are, they have little collector value unless you collect Predator cues and just want one for you collection.
With due respect to Paul Costain who is a genius in my opinion, I would not be interested in one of his cues.
To start with I would value them close to the value of vintage Predator cues, and see where it goes.

and it also has a pretty cool veneer design that I have never seen.
so maybe in 20 or 30 years it will be collectible.
