cues of Reyes and Bustamante

From what I've heard, he used to have a Richard Black shaft for his cue. I also know he's using the Judd for a long time. Now, I've seen him use a Mezz cue during IPT.
 
What i really want to know is WHERE IS EFREN?I havent seen him in any tourneys forever,Is he giving up the game?(hope not)Is he sick?(hope not).
It just seems to me he has'nt been out of the scene ever for this long.Hope everything is o.k.
