just add 5 bank shots in between and ur ready to take the lead pranner :D

dont give up yet!!! :D ow man, i wish i had a pooltable to try it on too.

wei if u need more idea's for other drills, i might have some idea's for you. they are similar to these, but the balls are positioned in different order.

one for example. place all the 15 balls between foot point and breakpoint in a line. u play 14-1 rulez. so u can pot 15 or even 100 balls if u want. u can add the same rulez of this month game to it. 5 banks = extra, playing them in rotation = extra, full/stripe order =extra etc etc.

advantage is that the competition will be able to beat the highest score more easily, as there is no limit on the amount of balls potted. it will be very hard to beat gage's 55 points.

Hi Solartje

Yes please share the drills here and everyone can discuss what they would like. After all I believe it will be more fun to let people feel this is an event where they can decide on rules.

After L Drill Tony Robles style (CueTable Contest 0606 ), I asked Mika for one. He showed me this on a tight pocket table. He made only one try and almost ran out:
Mika's Drill on A Tight Table

I have considered it for a while  and finally I thought it might be a little too much. We need something that players at all levels can join and have fun.

There must be a way to pass Gage's 55 pts run. If you'd... Shhhhh! :p

Take sometime and think a little. But not too long though. You have to do it before our IOS and Alinco wake up. :)

Have a greet weekend !!

im sure tanner will post a 60 run soon :p

ps wei: the prices won. can they be added? like u win one contest and are second in another one. can u combine both prices to buy a 100+$ item? or are there restrictions?

rule #1: dont believe anything your eyes see :D

Wei u posted on your website:

Bonus points can be combined. For example, if you shoot 1 to 15 balls in numerical order without touching a rail ever, you will get 45 points (15 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 10 + 10 = 45 )

if u add it all up its 50 not 45 ;)

so your only 10points short of a 60 run  now get your balls out and play.

(******* I wish i had a table!!!!!!! )

Wei: can i do it in a online poolgame? cant afford tabletime, but i surely would love to try it too :D (joking)

gage: i think u made a 60 run. not a 55.... im I correct?

I had:
15 base points
2x 5 points if you shoot any 5 balls in numerical order
10 points if the cue ball never touches a rail
10 points if only 2 balls move in every shot
10 points if you shoot all stripes first, all solids next and the 8 as the last ball

=55 points

The way I set it up though, I should have just shot them all in order instead solids, stripes, then 8-ball. That would have been 60 points.

aha correct !! forgot u shoot the 8 as last...

well... i guess the tournament is still open then :D

ps worst thing: im going to shoot some pool tonight. i could try to do it, but my GF's mother has the camera . Patience thats what i need :D

Dear all:

I feel very lucky and honored to be sponsored by Tiger. They are generous, willing to help the sport and truely have some of the best products today.

Our monthly contest on the web has been a totally new idea for all people including Tiger (a manufacture for the sport), CueTable (a learning tool), participants (the players) and the audience (the general public). There needs to be a good balance inbetween every element for the event to succeed. We has been working on some technical details in order to make everyone happy.

We should try to keep it easy for their web certificate system. I would like to ask our winners kindly limit their certificate use to $100 at each purchase for the time being. Add some cash to the purchase.

So far we have been fortunate to learn some techniques from the past 4 contests. We aim to make this a true public event where everyone can get involved, learn and share.

Pool is a communication channel.

I must say Wei, I love the tiger shaft I got with the gift certs I won. Im glad you got sposored by them too.

Damn, this reminds me I forgot to send that DVD off to you. I'll try to get it out this week. Sorry for that delay Wei.

i complelty agree wei. in belgium we have a saying that says: u dont look a given horse in the mouth.

just wanted to clarefy it, as it havent been able to find anything about. there are always people who will try to work around the system.

a 100$ is already more then we could expect.

thx tiger for the sponsering!

hope il win a gift one day too :D

now how about a 60 run? anyone still trying?
