With all recent interesting talks about Corey on a bartable, we have something interesting to add, directly from our video cutting room.

Corey Dueul has created a new game for pool. The objective here is to run a rack of balls in the least amount of strokes (similar to golf rules). He was taking bets on running a rack of balls in 12 shots at the Super Billiards Expos 2007. According to him, his best record was 9 on a 9 foot table.

Together with Paul Smith of Diamond Billiard Products, we have filmed and edited a great run by him on a Gabriels 7 ft table. We have upload to footage to YouTube and Google Video. All layouts have been drawn using the new BarCueTable for people to study and discuss.

There are potential investors who are interested in funding a competition in this format if there are enough interests from the public.

I tried 15 balls in fewest shots last night and I will bet anyone that I can clear them in <20 shots. Heck, I like you people. I'll do you for <19;)

Wow, that run was killer! Too bad you couldn't really see that 3 way shot at the beginning.

I think it would be a lot of fun to see a competition in this format. Maybe the masses would enjoy it too if it gets televised. It could really showcase the skills and creativity of these guys in a way that you don't need that much pool knowledge to appreciate.

Great post, this is an interesting game and I will have to give it a whirl on my home table.

Also wanted to give you props on your great website, especially the forums. You are amassing a huge collection of great shots, and I especially like the links to video showing how its done by the pros. +rep mucho man, thanks!
