I seen a player run over 80 balls with a house stick. Does this mean that the house stick is a better cue?
If you like the way it plays and are comfortable with it buy it. You should not care what other player think.

The guy just wants some feedback. I wasn't comparing a house cue to a cuetec. I play with a cuetec and I like it.
I was just giving the guy some information not a comparison between a house cue and cuetec.
Why are you even commenting on what I say?

Allison Fisher is a good player, and she's using Cuetec too.
Thank You

others think about them. I'm looking at the Mahogany series.
Any opinions?

I feel the same way about the "pingy" feeling hit. Either save a little more for something else (I'd suggest a Joss) or get a different cue in the same price range. Even a Players will feel better than a Cuetec.NaClBandit said:I hit some balls with my friend's CueTec the other day (SST shaft) and I must say that I did not like it. The fiberglass coating makes the hit very hard, almost "ping-y".
Tons'O'fun said:Actually Mike uses a Layani with a Predator shaft. He only uses a Cuetec for breaking. I use a Cuetec for breaking as well, but that's only for one shot per game. Ask Mike if he would use a Cuetec as his fulltime cue.
Also, do you own or have you ever shot with a Cuetec?. I own two of them, so I imagine I know enough about their cues.
Tons'O'fun said:Good point bruce, take a look at this pick of Allison with her Cuetec, doesn't look like an SST shaft to me.
