Cuetec Propel Joint Protectors

I recently acquired a Propel jump cue without joint protectors. There’s a tiny chip on the collar of the shaft and would like to minimise any further wear and tear. However I can’t seem to find Cuetec branded joint protectors for their quick release joint anywhere - about to shoot Cuetec an email but I’d get an answer faster from the hive mind! ;)

Hi Carl
Shipping to you would really bite the big one, but why can't you use regular cuetec joint protectors?
The one for the shaft, just shorten the threads, or if you can, turn the front of the threads down.

Ooo, thanks for pointing this out! I didn’t realise they used the same kind of threads!
