CueTech shaft tap size???

Hi,
I know this been talked about before:o , I can not find in search for this tap size for cuetech, and where i can buy one.

Kenny if you are racing up a Cuetec...I find it much easier to just pull the pin & swap for a 3/8-10....takes about 10 minutes.;)

THANKS VARNEY, the guy still wants to use his old shaft also.
 
I had a tap made for the cue tec .372X14 Went through enco. It was not cheap. It's been about ten years ago when I had it made. Was about $70.00 back then.

No problem...take 10 more minutes. Plug his old shaft with blk abs (whats in it originally) and bore/retap for 3/8-10. Easy solution.
I've done a few Cuetec's myself. ;) :D
 
Changing it over to 3/8X10 would be cheaper for you not having to purchase a tap and it is a much better pin that the cue tec hands down.
 
Do you have a metal lathe? If so, you might consider setting it up for grinding threads. No tap needed then.
 
I'm out of town so I don't have the size. I got one from atlas. They should know the size. I had a guy who wouldn't let me change his pin.
 
The tap is NOT 3/8. Nor is it .372". It's .360 x 14.

no i dont have a metal lathe. That will be my next item to buy on my list, still looking.
