Not my business, but it doesn't sound like your refinish guy should be working on expensive cues if he was so careless he didn't bother to look at the finish on the cue and buffed leather conditioner all over everything. Let alone on a tasc.

Maybe you should delete the thread and learn from it. You/the buyer do not need any public controversial comments/situations. Learn and move on.

Then why are you calling me a liar and try to hurt my reputation? I offered you a compensation you accepted it but you went on damage the cue because your buddies was asking about it. What are you trying yo do now? I gave you my solution to this problem but you didn’t want it.
Why was I’m a liar? Did you even gave me a perfect cue? It has dent and issues, but I kept it did I not? I tried my best to keep you happy, try to get it sent to Pete Jr. I had the shipping labels all printed and sent pdf file to you. But then you wanted a wrap change, which cost 350-450 on top. That’s call greedy. The overlap clear coat on the wrap wasn’t bad til you fixed it.
I’m no cash cow, don’t try to squeeze me and get the perfect cue that you want. Get real, I love to help because you told me your situation and how you’re on fix income (retired) but I’m no pushover and let people do stuff to me. My cue had no issues in it’s playing ability, the issues you had was cosmetic and the 3 pictures shown it.

ok then...hopefully your next buyers understand to contact you as soon as they open the box. I bought a cue from a cue maker here and went back as fast as I opened the tube. Was new/unused with an obvious flaw. One cue I bought the seller said there was nothing negative he could see.... however the collar on the shaft had a slight chip...How come I could see it.
Add me to that list that would not trade. Buy and sell, that is another story.

Did you disclose that the cue had a refinish done? I don’t see you dispute this. I honestly don’t care about this at all, but I am waiting for my table. I know for 100% that AZ billiards posted the buying selling rules and in the first couple sentences, the word caveat emptor is right there. Anyone that is deciding to buy and sell through this site, should educate themselves on the Latin phrase.

I agree, I was going to except my losses and move on. Then Ken had to start this imature shit show thread.
No matter what, he will never admit he has made a mistake.
I never had it refinish.
The cue was bought and sold from other seller.
I checked it and made sure it’s good, and before I sold or trade. I made sure it sent out in great or good condition. I had my guy buffed it and clean it.
I didn’t see much or any issues until the guy took the pictures and sent to me. I shown to my repair guy and he offered to have it back and fix it. But this mango guy said no and wanted to have it repair by Pete jr, I said ok. He called Pete and had it estimated at 150$, I sent Mr. Mango here 2 shipped label for Pete n return label. I also told him, the cue only has cosmetic issues, why don’t you play with it. TIL it really has issues and get it repair. The 200$ I will pay for you. I’m guessing, he tried to fix it and screwed it up and now it’s the wrap issues also. So later, he told me pete might want to change the wrap if he sent to Pete jr. That’s when I got pissed, cause from a 200 to a 600-700$ issues, I’m not paying for that.
He sent me a message 5-6 weeks later and told me he will sell it for 3850 on azbilliard. I gave him an advice, no one will buy that cue for 3850. If he want sell the cue with two shafts for 3300 and keep one shaft sell it separately. He listen told me how about sell to me for 3300, I said no. If he wants to sell to me, send me the cue, I will look at it and send him 3100 the other 200$ I will have repair guy look at it first. Then now here we are.
I'm sorry this is happening. My next thoughts are these matters should dealt with privately... Kill the thread and rewind. No need to ping pong publicly. You'll both look better.

To be honest, I don't trust you. Leave things alone.
It’s Fine buddy , I’m not gonna be your cash cow for you to squeeze. I offered to help to fix the issues and the cue. You just wanted more and more and a perfect cue that will cost you nothing. I’m nice but not stupid. You tried to fix the issues yourself but you failed, then tried to blamed the issues on me. That also backfired at you, but I gave you a choice, a way to fix the issues. You don’t trust me, then I can’t help you. I’ll be at SBE, you have anyone here bring the cue to me, I will inspect it and give 3100$ cash to the person to bring home to you, or I can PayPal you 3100$ right away, and I will pay you 200$ after the cue repair inspected. If you try to sell that cue, I doubt anyone will pay or offer you 3300$ or more than me. Good luck with your sell. My reputation is solid, I have tried and tried to keep my reputation clean and as always some will tried to stained it. I’m always up for the challenge. Thank you all for private message and advice. Yeah I will let it go now, if anyone can help This mango guy out, please do.
My offer will be good for him as long as I can have the cue on my hand. I’ll be at SBE booth 735-736.
