Gentlemen,

What cushion was used on the Sport Kings, and is there a modern equivalent?

Same as the Centennials, Anniversaries, GC1's, 2's...Brunswick Monarch K55 cushions, and no there's not really a modern equivalent, but the sub-rails can be modified to play better than Brunswick ever made them play when new with new K55 cushions.

When you say there is no equivalent, are you referring to the composition of the rubber or to the profile? Or, more precisely, is the profile of a Diamond Black K55 different than the Monarch K55?

Sport King Cushions

Okay, RKC, thanks for the info. I've got a Sport King coming soon, and I think it may be in very good condition. And the UPS guy brought me a Makita 9031 today, too. This is my lucky week. :smile:
