Cushion response issue

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I had a question for all you pool table repair guys. So I've been through 2 rubber cushions on my pool table. The first one I replaced was from Amazon and the response after the replacement was crap, I was told I had bought a bad quality set of cushions I had installed so I the second round of new cushions I installed are currently championship tour edition and still not much of a change from the previous cushions. It's an American heritage table with Simonis 760 cloth. I've tightened all rail bolts. The only thing I'm unsure of the height or perhaps I keep installing the wrong cushions. I'm using k66 and my cushion height could be seen in the picture I've attached. Any suggestions?

That you likely have k66 and potentially issue that results from cloth strip?

Additionally, your pic suggests you're high.
The cloth strip which is the top of the rail, if that's the one you are referring to. I believe it's tucked in properly. What would I be looking for if I screwed it up?

No idea but the link you read did include a phone # for a fine dude who likely knows.

Bottom line - a top quality cushion rubber of the correct profile installed on a lower end Asian made table may play as well as can be expected on that particular table, but is still not going to result in cushions that play nearly as well and as responsive as quality cushions on a higher end table such as a Diamond or Gold Crown.
