****SOLD****Have this custom box case that’s a 2x3 design. This case is solid and well built. Someone mentioned possibly an early Florida Fred case but don’t hold me to it. Double clasps (It’s George style) with 2 functioning keys. This case is gorgeous to see in person. Will be expensive to ship.

Asking $OLD. I cover shipping in the USA only.

That is a Ron Caudle custom built case. Ron was from Conyers, Georgia. His family made wood boxes dating back to early 1900s. Ron was making custom take-down shotgun wood cases and in the 1990s with the billiards craze he started making custom wood cue cases. I had owned several of Ron's cases- bought back in the 90s. Ron got better and better at making these cases and yours is from his best days of wood cue case production- I can tell by the handle and the interior design that this was from his later period of cue cases.

Whoever gets this case will love it! I have never seen better made or better looking wood cue cases than the one's made by Ron towards the end of his case making period - like yours. Ron used high quality, and many rare woods, he finished the cases beautifully. I only just recently sold my last Caudle case bc I just ran out of room for my cue collection storage - I miss them all- true wood beauty - someone should be very happy!:)

Attached find Ron's business card from the late 1990s and another example of his beautiful work that I once owned. I do not believe that Ron is around anymore.caudle1.JPGcaudle card.jpg
