custom break cue and custom jump cue recommendations?

trying to do some research on custom break and custom jump cues.. (NOT J/B cues) who here has gone from the higher end break cues / jump cues (bk2, pred air, mcd dr popper, mezz break, etc) and switched over to a custom cue maker's instead?

can you guys provide some info on who the cuemaker is and what kind of specs your cues are? what was your problem with these "high end" cues from these mainstream companies?

Pete Ohman builds a custom product that meets my needs. He can make seperate components or a combined break/jump.

I like the proportions of his jump butt for enhancing accuracy of my shot. The jump butt section is longer and lends itself well to aiming on the typical jump shots that come up in a game. He offers this jump butt with a small screw-on butt cap and bumper. Looks well finished and complete. He also will customize it with inlays and wood choices to match your playing cue.

His break cue rocks the house. Again custom for materials and weight based on your preference. He pays great attention to his shaft polish and taper. He chooses excellent quality components. I have never had a failure in one of his cues.

I just picked up a Lomax Jump cue and let me tell you what! AWESOME jump cue. He is in the process of building me a Break Cue to match my Sugar Tree player also. I should have that in a month or two. Honestly I was blown away at how his Jump cue performed.
