Custom Cue for around $200

For around $250-$450 you can get a JD cue by Joel Dadivas, best bang for your buck, a custom cue that is fully loaded. :)

It seems like pool cues are one of the last things that you can still purchase with the pride of knowing that it was Made in the USA for a reasonable price. Although I know his cues are nice, for this reason alone I personally would never purchase a JD or any other foreign cue.

There is a local cuemaker in my area that is working on several sneaky petes in the 150$ to 200$ range and will make a no frills cue for around 250$. They are solid
hitting cues...I play with one. PM for contact info.

I'm, going to 3rd (or is it 4th by now) getting a Dale Perry cue in that price range.

Made in USA, play very well, and they look really nice.

I have the one below which is brand new and can be had for $150 including shipping. Not too shabby!

Best,
Brian kc

McDermott has many entry level cues, and even the lower end of the G-Core shaft line is under $200.

Lifetime warranty, and they supposedly will even change the tip for you once a year for the cost of the shipping. (Haven't tried that out yet, as mine is my only cue and don't want to be without it for the couple of weeks it must take. I've read here that this is the deal with them, though, and plan on taking advantage of it soon.)

I love mine.

Yes, but you also love scantily-clad women who kiss crustaceans.

Can you be trusted? :p

Denali Pool Cues

I am in a pool league and a member on my team is looking for a custom cue. He found one on ebay for $100 that looks nice but is probably made in China. I am trying to help him. Just a good quality solid hitting stick with no frills. Any suggestions?
