8) Here's a wrapless curly purpleheart that I recently re-converted. $700 shipped on this one with one tad shaft.
It was originally an oversized titlist with a leather wrap but after I saw that it was a curly purpleheart...I've decided to make it wrapless. The butt is still oversize at 1.29 and the joint is at .798". 1.5 below the joint it's at .85 so this can still be re-converted to an extremely nice cue. Was planning to add an ivory joint and built a few new shafts but just don't have the time. Cue plays great with my old tad and gina shafts. Was planning to converted it specifically for either the old tad or gina shafts. If anyone is interested, I have these shafts available as well. Check pics below on the shafts!!
Butt Weight in at 14 oz with a 5/16-18 white phenolic piloted joint(diameter of joint is about .815)
- 3 shafts (2 Old 60's Gina with ivory and one old curly Tad)

It has a nice pig skin leather wrap, phenolic hoppe ring, stainless steel collar, 5/16-14 pin, 2 straight shafts that plays super solid! Cue is about 18.5oz with either shafts.

11) Tascarella Conversion: $1500.00
I have a rare 8 pts full splice wrapless cue that was converted by Pete Tascarella with no bumper. The cue is unsigned as the blank was one of mine, SR8-A. This cue was sold to George "Ginky" who then had Pete re-convert it to a hoppe style cue with ivory dot inlays with the hoppe ivory ring with no bumper.
The cue now has 3 shafts: 1 original, 1 predator and 1 ultra X tiger shaft (all matched by pete). George use this cue to play and break with for almost 2 years and now the cue is back in my possession. The cue has been heavily used so the cue have some issues. The butt has numerous battle scars but nothing into the wood..only finish dent and bruises and it does has a very very slight roll out in the forearm that doesn't affect playability one bit (weight at about 15.4oz). The original shaft is cracked at the collar and was re-sealed by Pete (slight roll out, 12.7mm, sniper tip, 3.6oz, the predator is slight crack in one of the pie splice line (very straight, 3.8oz, 12.75mm, 30 Inch Long) and the ultra X shaft is warped but still playable. I've been playing for almost 15 years and I've gone through hundreds of playing cues, I would rank this cue as one of the top 5 players of all time cues among my Joel weinstock, Franklin SW, McDaniel, Ivory Gus. The original shaft has a very unique taper that was shape from the hundreds of hours that George played with the cue and it's amazing. If you ever wonder why George get pinpoint position...check out the taper on this shaft. It's very easy to move the cue ball and you can literally feel your position.
