Custom cues + Predator Revo compatibility?

Looking for some guidance. I want a custom cue butt (Josey, Gilbert, Heath Outlaw, Nitti, Pierce, etc.) that I can pair with a Predator Revo shaft, while still using the original maple shaft.

Questions:

Do Predator Revos usually fit these makers’ pins (radial, 3/8x10, etc.) straight out of the box?

If not, is it more common to have the butt adjusted or the Revo fabricated to fit?

Any feedback from players who run a Revo on one of these customs — how does it compare in balance/play to the stock maple shaft?

Are there other builders you’d recommend who are known to pair especially well with a Revo?

Trying to build something I can swap between CF and wood without issues. Any advice from experience would be appreciated.

Revo comes in all kinds of threads. It's about .842" at the joint and the weight is right around 4oz, so it weights the same as a normal maple shaft.
If you want a good flush fint, whatever cuemaker you choose needs to have .840" is joint collar diameter.
Why not buy a carbon fibre shaft from the maker?

Most likely buy one already completed off of j&j, eBay, etc...

I agree, by the time I chuck it up and zero both ends I’d say about $20… that may be high or low but it’s my time and equipment.

I know some people wouldn’t bother zeroing both ends because the tap should already follow the threaded hole… I’ll do it my way…

I don't know if the guy who quoted a price is even a cuemaker, but someone who would do it for five doesn't respect his time, tools, out knowledge.

He is a friend and a business/shop owner who does tons of repairs and is NOT a cue maker. In all fairness, the Revo shaft was already a 3/8-10 standard that just needed to fit a 3/8-10 modified pin, so it was a very minor issue. I could have been more specific...don't mean to ruffle any feathers
