pics would help.

A few years ago around the same time Evan started Segen cues I was at a tournament and Jackson Cues was there also and I had a chance to try out both. They both played very well. Definitely not similar but both felt good. I would value Jackson shafts at $100 each just because there is not much of a market that I am aware of and the butt at $350-$400. Just my opinion, could go for more to the right person. Shooter08

Here is a more basic one that originally sold for $550 new: https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/jackson-cue.331314/

Is this fancier one 3 or 4 times the basic cost with appreciation? Maybe, and I am not a fan of stubby dull points in cues. Looking in the Jackson gallery I see some cues with sharp points: http://www.jacksoncue.com/gallery.html

like this one:

What is it worth to the OP? Maybe start at $2275 with free insured shipping and state all reasonable offers will be considered?

LOL, does that cue have a red spec black wrap, it is identical to the cue I test hit or is probably the actual cue. I did like it a lot but I don't recall the price, we were a dealer at the time. Shooter08

Leather wrap if that is what you are refering to.
The one I test hit had a black linen wrap with red spec, if it would of had white spec I probably would of purchased it as a dealer at the time. I remember it because of the inlays being ivory if I recall, I preferred them over abalone like you see alot. Nice Cue.

Additionally, some of the styling reminds me of a Benson. I would be considering this cue if it were as I really like 3/8x10 pin setups and like Benson's stubby smaller metal joint.

I would consider offering the OP $700 for the cue, if the OP agrees with this appraisal...

I like the look. Not crazy about the ivory. Elephants are people too... Value wise, nice finish but has the appearance of Chinese prefabbed blanks; shaft grain etc...
