CUSTOM JOINT PROTECTORS QUESTIONS

i know it takes time for many reasons to make a cue but how long does it take to make custom joint protectors to match the cue ?
I get the impresiion and i could be wrong that cuemakers dont like to do it
if thats true
why?

From the standpoint of a hobbyist, the ringwork on the JPs is tedious without the same payoff as a cue. I could see why a cue maker would want to avoid the extra work (and materials).

My JPs are black synthetic, they Protect the Joints.

If I had some Super expensive Custom Cue, Miney to burn. Alton is the man, no I do not know name, AZB Handel, but guy does stuff out of Box.

custom JP's are a PITA to make ...... takes several hours and is tedious............ I have a local guy the makes them .......... I have him do it
