Are they Wooldridge or Omin tips on the shaft? ND is good, agree. Far East Cues are also nice. I'll make a list when I have time.
I'm not 100%, but he made the tips for my shaft - they are green as well.

So overpriced cars are ok but cues can't be over 400bux,right? Whatever. No, I have not--my Ferrari is 30 years old this year, while my V12 S-class Mercedes is only 10 years old.
FAR from a custom but THE best deal on a great playing Chinese/Taiwan cue is the $80(90 for lil nicer ver) sneaky from J&J. http://www.jjcue.com/jjcues.htm Me personally living in the US i would never buy a custom from anywhere but right here in the states. Too many great makers out there to go offshore. I'm sure Zen and Demon are nice but i'd never opt for one.
They aren't custom, they are production line, and you can find some SW styled for like 2000rmb on Taobao. The best value/quality combination of cues sourced from Taiwan were 'Zeus' - which later become Zen after some back and forth between SW and Azen (this is what I heard from people who regularly work with him. I have only met him once or twice)
FuGan (Lucky cue) are one to watch here in China. Quite like what they do. LiSi (CueLee's/Omin). Blue Cardamon. Many other brands... I mean, there are tons. There are also many competent cue builders.
Not custom, but a good enough production line cue. Made in the mainland I believe. Hit with a few. Just as good as my old Mezz. I don’t like carbon, so can’t say myself, but a few friends rate their carbon shaft below Mezz, Cuetec, but a good price point.Hi, curious, do you have an opinion about HOW cues? Not sure if they are made in China, or Taiwan. I used to think they were a custom shop, but not sure now. Thanks.
I reckon they’ll all be from the same place. Great tips. I still have a load. The price has gone up, so I gave some others a try. Didn’t like Moori (cpba co-branded), but finally gave thoroughbred a try, and really liking them.I'm not 100%, but he made the tips for my shaft - they are green as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong but B4 you can start an entrepreneurial enterprise in China you need approval from the party and that requires some serious juju, yes??I wonder if there really are any/many. In the US, people's homes are big, with a basement and a garage. A shop can be set up without hardly any extra overhead. In China, people live in much smaller spaces. Mostly apartments. No garages, no basements. I think the vast majority of places that would have equipment to make a cue would be in a factory, that mass produced them.
Knew I should have asked.Actually China has a pretty large private sector. A lot of gov't/CCP oversight but there are businesses. Lot of rich business people in China these days. The party has actually lessened their grip in last few yrs in an attempt to get a stagnant economy going better.
A majority of cuesmiths rent a space or co-op with a hall. They operate like any other business, pay tax like any other business. It’s not much different from the US in that respect to be honest. Approval from the party?Correct me if I'm wrong but B4 you can start an entrepreneurial enterprise in China you need approval from the party and that requires some serious juju, yes??
An older relative must stand for you or some such and if you're unsuccessful, grandpa's ruined??
A friend goes to Shanghai sorta regularly and he said the number of Bentley's/Ferrari's/Lambo's driving around is insane. The Party is still the Party but a lot of folks are getting stupid rich too.Knew I should have asked.
yep, the party bigshots keep their thumbs on the public and get rich. surprised the regular joes haven't revolted. the police culture must be pretty brutal.they still have "communist" in the party name but at this point their ideology is just cling onto power and stuff their pockets. it's not like they gonna revert 40 years of market economy. capitalism brought the chinese probably the most successful decades of any country in history
The hype for Zen in the mainland is enormous... There are a lot of other handmade cues, and also many production line cues that have really upped there quality in recent years. Perhaps I could compile a list.
Not sure of the top of my head. I'll ask a friend.Hi, curious if you have seen this logo before, and know any info about these cues, and have an opinion about them? Looks like a really nice cue. Thanks a lot for any thoughts.

Thanks for the info. And please don't.A majority of cuesmiths rent a space or co-op with a hall. They operate like any other business, pay tax like any other business. It’s not much different from the US in that respect to be honest. Approval from the party?as if they care about your small business… it’s relevant to the correct local authority... how it is organised will need to be relevant to the correct law of the county, or city, which will be relevant to the province. I can find out exactly how it should be for where I’m situated, or other locations if you’re really interested. Always be wary on forums… the loudest mouths usually end up saying the least

If those are all inlay and not decal, that's damn fine craftsmanship.Hi, curious if you have seen this logo before, and know any info about these cues, and have an opinion about them? Looks like a really nice cue. Thanks a lot for any thoughts.
