Custom Shaft Question

I often employ backhand english (pivot and point) for compensating for deflection. This of course requires that the pivot point of the cue be at a comfortable bridge length (6-8 inches). Higher quality shafts with low deflection have pivot points too far back for bridging, but the shafts with the optimal pivot points, it seems to me, tend to be lower quality shafts.

So here is my question. Is it possible to have a shaft made with the pivot point at, say, 7 inches, but that also has a taper like the OB1 and can support a dime-radius tip? If so, who can do this, and how much would it cost?

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.
