Custom shaft

It's gonna vary. Assuming whoever's doing the work has seasoned shafts ready to go. I would say anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks. Some rings are more complex than others and take more time. If you're wanting something other than the cuemakers standard taper, Add more time. There's several things to consider.
it all depends to the cuemaker, every cuemaker has a different waiting time. But one thing is for sure, the time is not long as waiting the whole cue.:thumbup:. Also things need to consider is the ringworks, of course fancy ringworks takes time to do.
There is nothing 'normal' about the wait time for anything custom and I wish people would stop thinking that there is. Production is one thing (and very predictable) but custom is a totally different animal.
The time it takes is the time it takes.
The last thing you want to do is to prod an artist to go faster. Neither of you will like the result. At that point, YOU will be responsible for your money and his time having been wasted.
If you want quick, buy production. If you want custom, acquire the patience to be worthy of the artist's efforts.
