Custom steel jointed cues

Hello peoples. Is there any custom makers known for their steel jointed cues? I know any maker can do it but just wanted to know if there is somebody I should look into first. Thanks all.

all do a great job....some do steel collar, so make sure....had one 25+ years

Travis/Blackcreek makes a true 5/16 x 14 steel compression joint. His cues play great.

I'd have to say Dennis Searing is second to none when it comes to a steel joint cue his compression fit is flawless he's also the reason we have the stainless steel half joint which is in a class of its own

I also have a John Showman and a James White that play very very good

Tascarella makes an amazing steel jointed cue!

I had a Jim Buss cue with a stainless steel joint and it was a very good playing cue
Black Boar of course, and you can always pick up an old Joss West

I have a four year old Tascarella and the compression joint fits exactly the same now as when it was new. You can feel the pilot snug in when you screw it together. Fantastic player-
