Custom Tulipwood Schon - $575 w/1 shaft
I had a question come in on a private message that I could not answer. Hoping someone else can. They wanted to know if this cue could be lightened. So I took the bumper off and saw the large bolt but it's too tight to loosen. Any idea how to loosen? Thanks...Here's a nice Schon...Tulip Wood and Ivory...
This cue is at least 20 years old. I've owned since the early 1990's. The butt weighs 16oz. and is 29" long. This cue has 12 pieces of ivory in each ring. This cue is very straight and solid hitting player.
I have 4 shafts to pick from. All shafts are 29" long (+/-) 1/8".
Shafts left to right:
1.) 4.1oz / 13.1mm. This shaft has Schon scribed onto the wood. It was bought new from Schon in 2002 time frame.
2.) 4.2oz / 12.5mm. This shaft has Schon engraved in the ring. This was Jeremy Jones' playing shaft in or around early 1990's.
3.) 4.0oz / 12.3mm. This shaft has the finish is wearing off on the ring. This is a very old Schon or Richard Black.
4.) 4.0oz / 12.5mm. This is the original shaft. It has the most blue on it.
Thanks,
Mark
