Custom / unique cues in NY?

Hi all,

I'm interested in getting a unique cue for myself, I say unique vs custom because I don't want to wait for someone to build to my exact specs, I'd like to browse / try out some custom cuemaker cues and purchase one on the spot...

I am about an hour from NYC, but I'm having a really tough time figuring out where or how I could do this outside of large tournaments or the SBE booths which I can't attend.

Any thoughts?

Since you mentioned NYC then I'm assume getting there is not an issue. Check out Steinway Billiards during their nightly Monday or Wednesday tournaments. There are always people with cues for sale. Reach out to CueMaster98 and see what he has. Still kicking myself for not grabbing the Tascarella Sneaky Pete he had for sale back a couple of years.

I think you're not going to find a better opportunity to check out a lot of options and come home with a cue than you will at SBE. Any other approach will involve more effort with fewer options to examine.
