Hello,

I am selling one of Kevin Varney's nice custom plainjane wrapless cues with a pretty cool 3 wood butt: Bubinga forearm/curly maple handle/ebony buttsleeve w/1 OB classic shaft that was made for this cue from a blank - so it is basically an original OB Classic shaft. Top/left in the pictures

Specs: 57.4"; Butt is 15.16oz w/brass 3/8-10 SW style pin; OB Classic shaft is 3.875oz, 12.75mm; 57 1/2".

SOLD!

I am only selling the top/left cue. This cue plays every bit as nice as my player (BEM seen here) but for LD fans, which I am not.

Thank you for looking.

Dave

(I tried to change the title of the other two threads when I was selling both cues, but I couldn't do it - so I am starting a nice fresh new thread)

Lunch time bump.

If you are a fan of LD shafts, you owe it to yourself to try the OB Classic! This cue's for you.

Nice cue

That is a nice looking cue. It would make a nice player. I used to shoot with a predator shaft, but after getting into custom cueas about 8 years ago, I noticed that the vibration was much higher than in the regular shafts. Do you think it is the same with this cue? I've never hit a OB shaft. And who built this shaft for the cue? Thanks.

Hi Braden,

I'm not much of an expert about LD shafts and vibrations, but one of the knocks on LD shafts has been they do not have the same spine as a good maple maple shaft, if that makes any sense. OB Cues (http://www.obcues.com/) has made the "Classic" shafts to put the weight & the spine back into LD shafts so maybe we're talking about the same thing. It feels & plays differently than the few LD shafts I have tried (Predator, OB1 & OB2).

OB Cues makes the shaft & I provided you with their website above. They supplied the blank to Kevin Varney to make this cue w/his collar, the shaft is a standard OB Classic other than that.

If you have any other questions, please ask. You could also do a search as many reviews have been written about these shafts, I think all positive. If I could get used to a LD shaft I would not sell this cue, but I've sold all the LD shafts I had and only have this cue and one other that has an OB2 shaft.

Thanks for your interest.

In the words of George Thorogood: "I BUMP Alone, yeah".

Getting no bump love :).

A couple more bumps and I'm done. It only takes one person to make a deal .

It takes a village to raise a child, but only one person to buy this cue. Buying this nice playing, nice looking Varney is sooooo much easier. ;).

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Last day of bumps, so here's one for mid-day ;).

Again, thanks for looking everyone.

Last bump for this cue. It will still be for sale if I don't sell it locally but I'm bored.
