started to work on some butts yesterday afternoon, and my carraige was kinda stuck, i have the newer thread drive hightower, and do not really understand how the gears are set up.
made a phone call, chris answered the phone and i explained what was wrong, he told to me how to solve the problem. i said thanks and proceded to correct my problem, which was a just piece trash between the gears. very simple after his explanation.
this is my 3rd delux and i owned a inlay machine he built. i would not hesitate to buy any of his materials or another lathe, just for the simple fact he stands behind his products, and
HIS SUPPORT AFTER THE SALE IS UNBEATABLE.

I'm on my second Hightower lathe and I have also owned an inlay machine as well. I have to say Chris has to be one of the best individuals when it comes to Customer service after the sale. Two Thumbs Up.
 
I bought a used deluxe with the same setup Chuck is describing. Even though I didn't purchase directly from Chris he always answers my questions not only about that specific issue but side items also. You couldn't ask for a better vendor!

They do not come any better than Chris when it comes to customer service, he is a pleasure to speak with.
 
If Chris charged for the 100's of questions he gets a day he could retire wealthy, his customer service is the best.
