Size Air Compressor

Does anyone have a Min. Recc. size Air Compressor? As in tank size, PSI to core at and SCFM?

I saw someone was using 100 PSI and only cracking the vlave. I am planning to start at 40PSI and see how that goes.

I found a used Compressor with a 22 gallon tank and 6.9 SCFM @ 40 PSI. Will that be adequate?

I usually core at 40psi thru the drill. Your compressor will probably make it but I think after it turns on the first time, it will run the whole time you are drilling.

I have a 6hp compressor with a 60 gal tank and it runs most of the time I am drilling but it will catch up and shut off.
