dp cues

No offense but I doubt if anyone on this forum would buy a dp.He screwed a lot of people with his 1of1. and price dropping. You should either keep it or unload it on e-bay.

DP cues

Just do a search. His cues use to sell for over a 1000.00. No he mass sells on ebay. All those people who paid big bucks are pretty well screwed.

I have a DP that was made in the early 1990s. Paid abit over 800 for it if I remember correctly. The quality of his early models are in a different catagory vs. what his new ones seem to be... imo

The name is sullied. When you sell 1 of 1 cues on ebay for prices ranging from $89 to $200....it's a slap in the face to those who paid $1000 or more several years ago.

i know the debate about the dp cues. i don't agree with the way he cut quality and value in his cues. it is still a good cue for the money. there are quite a few people like me that can not afford some of the higher ended cues. i'm just trying to make a sell like every body else. so if anybody is interested in this cue, i will take $210.00 shipped

I bought one and have no problems with it. For the money it is an excellent cue. I know all about his previous cues and his move to make more cues and market them on eBay. Some people feel like they got screwed however right here and now his cues off of eBay represent an excellent deal.

I don't think it's the quality of the ebay cues that's in question. For me, it comes down to, what is different from his cues now, that he sells for $119 from the ones he sold for $800 several years ago? Are they the same materials and production methods, but he now has hired help? Or has he cut corners?

Maybe so, but blowing up this man's sale is not right. If you have a complaint about DP's tactics then do it elsewhere.

Some people love his cues.
