Reporting live from Tripple Barrel Tavern in Fuquay Carina, NC. Came here to practice at 11am. Been shooting for two hours and decide to take a break the check email and surf they AZ. Sitting here and felt something on my arm. Damn the roof is leaking!
Fortunately it is not leaking on the table but the seat and table top have sprinkles of water all over. Moved my gear and cues over one table and it is back to practicing.

Damn hurricane Ian.

My best to all the people that are way more devastated than me , where ever you are. Stay safe!!!

I left at 3pm and had two options to get home
One is all big three and four lane highways where everyone is driving 75 - 90 mph. The other slightly longer, more scenic and pleasant route is all two lane back roads.

I chose the scenic route today. It is blowing about 35 an gusting to 45 mph. There was leaves and pine needles along with water all over the roads. The good news is few cars so it was pretty nice ride and as soon as I got near UNC the road was closed. Downed tree I guess.

It was a good practice session. I used center ball for every single shot for three hours. The only spin I used was follow and draw. It was very interesting to see how I could use center ball, follow, draw and speed to maneuver the cue ball for shape. At some points I could not get where I wanted but it was surprising how often I did get the cue ball exactly where I needed..Think I learned something today!!

Be safe y'all...

Hurricanes are acts of God, the only thing we know for sure is every year has Hurricane season.

Today was last official day of Monsoon Season, another act of God.

More like, acts of the natural World with predictable root causes.
No need for a sky daddy to make it happen, and what was those claims from some religious groups about gays causing hurricanes for a gods wrath.. Lol, this is why nobody takes this seriously.

Instead, let's let Science and Engineering improve how homes are built and better flood prevention methods.
Or in some cases, just stop building on high risk ground.
This latest one in Florida will show more issues with building code violations and more issues with insurance companies leaving people on the street..
Focus on fixing man made issues, stick to reality.

Lighten up. Act of God is a term often even used by insurance companies. Don't read too much into it.

Huricanes, tornados, earth quake happen often.

MSM, and climate change wackos say it’s no so.

Storms are cause by climate change.

Reason we have 4 seasons is climate change.

The MSM, and Environmentalist Wacko work hard selling Snake Oil, believe their lies, your a sucker.

I'm with you. Ouija boards are the only real source of good information. I hear I might beat you out for salesman of the year. It's high time the champ is dethroned.

Actually sometimes the MSM gets info sort of right. If senior editors allow time to gather, and report truth.

Sometimes staff is told how or what part of story is to be reported.

Use to say only time you hear GOOD MEWS stories, is on slow bad News days.

Last night the remains of hurricane Ian passed right over our home. Wind gusts were 50 or so by my estimations and shredded the trees in our forest quite a bit. We had lots of pine cones hitting the roof from the southern pines.

So this morning I brought out the 13 hp pressure washer and went to work. Started up on the roof followed by the decks. After that the driveway and all the area surrounding our house.. All in all it took three hours of pressure washing. At 4 gallons per minute and 4000 psi at the tip it did a great job.

We feel pretty fortunate, never lost power and for us the event is over.. For any members not so fortunate you have our prayers and blessings for a safe return to normalcy as soon as is possible..

Color yourself lucky out got butt kicked, and will take long time to return to normal.

Down here in ground zero, Cape Coral, FL. Our town got rocked! All 3 pool halls are closed :(

I've been without power since it hit, but stabbed my breaker panel with the generator so I can turn on the pool table lights  No leaks thank god, and it sucks playing pool in a humid house, but its better than sitting around in the dark
