Here are some pictures from Dan DeCola of MasterClass cues. I don't remember seeing much of his work here, but I think it speaks for itself. Believe it or not he also builds precision competition rifles - on the same equipment the cues are made on.

I saw a few of his cues on Savoy's site billiardwarehouse.com They look pretty nice, never heard bout the payability

That's exactly what I thought. They look to be very nicely made but some of the design-patterns are simply knock-offs.
