Is he still building cues? He had a cue at the 2010 DCC I thought was awesome. I did not know he was into guitars until I looked at his web site today. It seems a lot of pool players I know, including me, are into guitars.

Dan is still making cues. I have one of the first 12 that he ever built to sell. I've had it 17 years and it still plays great. Dan is a very talented guy, cues, guitars, cases, etc.

Sbe 2010

I was at the SBE 2010 for a very short time. Mostly I came to meet Keith and Sherri Josey. They were busy, and I could appreciate that. I drove a long way and was not impressed with the venue. I am more into upscale, like Paul Schofield's place in Erie, PA. I think if pool ever wants to be successful, that's the direction it needs to go. At least in my area, the most successful room operators seem to be headed in that direction. Just my opinion. I know everyone doesn't agree with me, just the ones that are successful.

Didn't mean to go off the subject, but I love pool and I think that pool people need to realize that the old image of pool doesn't do it a lot of good.
