I have a nice, played DanBuilt cue for sale. These are the early cues made by Dan Dishaw. It is a very nice cue with minor bruises that you can feel, but can't really see unless you hold it up to the light just right. One noticable chip in the butt cap right below the "t" in the logo. A very nice example of Dan's cues, and it plays very nicely. Specs are:

6 Ebony points in forearm into very nice birdseye
6 reverse ebony points in butt into nice birdseye
2 veneers on all points, green, then black
Very nice maple stitch rings with black/green/black veneers at A,B,C,D,E
Uniloc stainless joint pin with wood/wood then phenolic sleeve (inside to outside)
Smooth leather wrap
One shaft, 12.8mm, I think it is his standard Aegis II ferrule, looks like Triangle tip
Butt weighs 14.8 ounces
Shaft weighs 4.2 ounces

New, this cue costs between $1150-1300 from Dan. This one has been played with, not kept in the closet, but is still very nice.

CUE IS SOLD!!! THANKS!!

initial update

after literally jumping through hoops for my local post office, I met a nice man working there and got my cue. my initial thoughts are: it really could use a re-finish as there is a crack in the finish by the point ends I wasn't aware of. Dan Dishaw does a seemless leather wrap, but is not very good at them on the ends. (vertical ends) I looked three times and still...no seem. the cue is just a little hard to get together, in other words it's real tight. I think Dan bevels the joint on the shaft, or at least that is what it looks like to me. I'll wait a while and have Dz refinish it so it'll look great. I haven't rolled it yet tonight, so I can't really tell, but he says it's straight so I'll believe him. I think after a refinish this cue will be better than new. I'll play with it tonight and update again tomorrow.

Jeff,
Make certain it is what you like. I have no problem with swapping the deal back if you are not happy. As I said, it is a very nice cue in played condition. Joe
